Events and activities for families
At Sutton Elms Baptist Church we are very family friendly, with a particularly strong family focus at our monthly Family Services and Explore Together events, as well as regular special events. With activities for all ages and abilities, you’re sure to find something for you.
First Sunday of every month, usually at 4pm contact Mat for details firstname.lastname@example.org
Second Sunday of the month is Family Service. A lively and fun time with plenty to keep children interested, starting and 10.15 with coffee and cake.
Sundays morning service is at 10.30am
And includes Smash and Pulse clubs for kids and Crèche
Smash and Pulse are our weekly activities for children who attend church on a Sunday. Smash is for primary school age and Pulse for secondary. These groups offer a great, relaxing and informally fun way to engage with what the Bible teaches and learn what this means for our lives today. As well we have discussions on world issues, church issues and we pray for each other and for our friends at home or at school. These clubs don’t run on Family Service weeks as children’s activities are part of the Family Service.
A new event for parents of pre-school children to get together, have a coffee and share a Bible study together.
“All these groups also serve to give a voice to children and young people in our church, ensuring that they are heard and valued parts of our church family. Through regular family/children’s/youth services the young people themselves take ownership of their faith and form a visible part of our worship, praise and fellowship.”
